Obama Boycotts National Day of Prayer

Yesterday was the National Day of Prayer. Obama marked the day with a proclamation, as is required by federal law, but didn't host a public event with religious leaders, as is usually the custom.

Sources say that the reason for the boycott stems from National Prayer Day organizers insisting that Obama meet only with pro-life religious leaders. He didn't want to do that, so he didn't participate. The story has not been confirmed.
