Palin's Primary Chances Not So Dire, According to New Poll

Rasmussen Reports released a new poll today showing that, if likely GOP primary voters cast a ballot today for the 2012 party primary, Sarah Palin would come in second with 19 percent of the vote. The frontrunner is Mitt Romney, with 24 percent.

Those who participated in the poll were given the choice of Palin, Romney, Mike Huckabee, Mitch Daniels, Ron Paul, Newt Gingrich and Tim Pawlenty.

Huckabee came in third with 17 percent, Gingrich got 11, Pawlenty 6, Paul 4 and Daniels 3.  Six percent wanted a different candidate, and 10 percent checked in at undecided on the above list.
