Carl Cameron reported on Fox News earlier this afternoon that GOP 527's, like Freedom's Watch, are likely to throw their weight behind vulnerable Republicans senators rather than John McCain.

Cameron cited McCain's reluctance to raise Rev. Jeremiah Wright, William Ayers and Tony Rezko as their motivating factor in sitting the presidential race out. With only three weeks left to go, we'll know soon enough if they decide to get on board or not.

Backing up Cameron's report, I just got a press release from FW touting the way Democrats have tried to cover up the Mahoney scandal in Florida in the race for Foley's old seat.
