Here is a wrap-up of the Iraqi elections -- noting, incidentally, that non-Islamist parties performed very well.

Of course, it's highly unfashionable these days to do anything but coo honey-covered words about our new President, but here's something to consider nonetheless: Is there any way these elections could have happened if the US had heeded Barack Obama's call for immediate withdrawal of troops from Iraq back in September of 2007?
