Top Dem Has A Pretty Dismal Electoral Outlook

Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.), the third ranking House Democrat, recently said that America needed to spend itself out of a recession. Now, he says that Democrats are going to win in November because of health care. Why? No, not because the public supports it — because the public will support it, after he and other Democrats educate them about it. From The Hill:
The congressman said Democrats would need to rely on allies to help educate the public, particularly because a large portion of the country will probably hear only criticism about the bill from lawmakers that opposed it in Congress.
Clyburn even spoke about needing to bring along people who did support the bill when Democrats campaigned, so constituents could see that its not that bad. If this is actually what Democrats think they need to do to win the November mid-terms, Republicans are in pretty good shape.
