The Shape of ObamaCare to Come?
Walgreens said its decision to not take new Medicaid patients stemmed from a "continued reduction in reimbursement" under the state's Medicaid program, which reimburses it at less than the break-even point for 95 percent of brand-name medications dispensed to Medicaid patents.
This sort of news, my friends, will be the shape of things to come if ObamaCare passes. Sure, the government can reimburse doctors and drugstores and hospitals -- but if government "reimbursement" is less than the break-even point for doctors, drugstores and hospitals, either they will go out of business or they will stop providing the services.
And then we will shortages. And then there will be rationing. And there will go the American health care system.
ObamaCare does nothing about health care costs -- except increase and accelerate them by expanding insurance coverage to a whole new universe.
