Al Franken has scored two small victories in his still-undecided Seante race against Norm Coleman. First, Minnesota's Canvassing Board ruled that 1,500 "incorrectly rejected" absentee ballots must be counted. Second, the board declared that one Minneapolis precinct must use their election night vote count rather thantheir final recount numbers (apparently, 133 ballots went missing), resulting in a 46 vote gain for Franken. Coleman still holds a 192 vote lead with all of the precincts reporting, but they still need to count the absentee ballots.
