The Prez Is Speaking Again Tonight....Yawn

Much-heralded. Long-awaited. Eagerly anticipated.

None of these are adjectives one can use to describe the sentiments towards Barack Obama's speech tonight on health care, the twenty-eighth such address he's given on the issue since he's taken office. Apparently, this speech is needed because Obama was getting criticism that he wasn't being specific enough about what he wanted with regards to health care legislation — despite, y'know, talking about it twenty-seven other times.

During this speech, Obama will say he wants a public insurance option, but stop short of making that into an ultimatum, so, specifically, he's saying, well.... he really, really wants the public option. But everyone already knows that. And everyone already knows he can't pass it. Snore.
