The Plum Line compares the ouster of Lou Dobbs to the firing of CBS News' Dan Rather and "the shortcomings of Rather’s story on Bush and the National Guard." Ha. If by "shortcomings" you mean blatantly false information and incredibly irresponsible journalism, then MAYBE you have a case. But it's widely known that Lou Dobbs is not a journalist and, to my knowledge, has never purposefully pedaled false information on his broadcast.
Like my post about the Huffington Posts' outrageous article on the Catholic Church, it's important to once again point out the incredible hypocrisy of the "tolerant" Left. These people actively campaigned for getting a conservative commentator fired from his job because they disagreed with what he was saying.
I've never been a fan of Lou Dobbs. And God knows I despise crazies like Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann, but I would never participate in a movement specifically aimed at squelching their opinions and ruining their careers. Real tolerant that Left is, huh?
