AT THE RACES: Sestak Brings New Meaning To "Dirty Politics," Hitting Toomey With Dog Poo

That’s right — the final advertisement from Democratic Rep. Joe Sestak features a bag of poo collected from his family dog, which he swings into the trash in a grand analogy for the policies of his Republican opponent. That comes right after Sestak has branded Toomey’s campaign the the "O'Donnell-Toomey-Palin" ticket, which seems like a warped analogy for the “Obama-Sestak-Pelosi” ticket. Except, uh, Obama and Pelosi are currently holding office, and O’Donnell and Palin probably won’t or aren’t trying.

Toomey is side-stepping the issue, focusing on Sestak’s policies. “They thought they could take the anxiety over an economic crisis and use it to jam through policies that they never would’ve been able to otherwise," he said at a recent campaign event. “He might be the only person in America that looked at the stimulus bill and said that it needed to be $200 billion higher."
