Leaving the Kids Behind?

In another example of the understated graciousness with which they have celebrated their smackdown of American public opinion on health care, Obama's domestic policy advisor, Melody Barnes, had this to say in response to the lawsuit being filed by 13 states attorneys general:

Bring it on.  If you want to look in the face of a parent whose child now has health care insurance and say we're repealing that ... go right ahead.

The only problem is that under ObamaCare, insurance companies are still able to refuse new coverage to children with pre-existing conditions, until 2014.

It might help if Democrats actually read the bills they were voting on, wouldn't it?
