Wow: Video Emerges of Van Jones Speaking at Anti-American Rally on 9/12/01

This is not an April Fool's Joke I wish it were:

2001
: Van Jones inveighs against the US government's "bombs" and mutters about "revolutionary change" -- within 24 hours of the deadliest terrorist attack in our history.

2009: Van Jones is a presidential appointee.

Watch the surreal video below, unearthed by Breitbart TV.  Note the guy who hails the hijackers as "heroes" (around 3:15) because they're "people of color rising," or something.  Jones' sick riff comes at the end:

Speculation time:  Did the White House (a) not vet Jones properly (they had quite a few early misfires on that front), or (b) did they know exactly what they were getting, and welcome him with open arms?

Listening to Jones speak like this -- as thousands bodies were still missing in the twisted, smoldering rubble of Ground Zero -- is jarring.  In light of this evidence, does anyone still believe he didn't know precisely what he was doing when he signed on to that 9/11 Truther petition?

One of the other 9/12 rally participants says of the heinous attacks, "now the chicken is coming home to roost."  Where have we heard that before?

Yes, I realize Barack Obama was not at the 9/12 rally depicted above.  And yes, I understand that ascribing one man's words to the leader who later hired him isn't accurate or fair.  "Guilt by association," and all that.  I get it.  However, how many of these odious, radical people must Barack Obama surround himself with before the pattern of behavior reflects on him and his worldview?

I've covered our president for nearly five years, and there are still moments when I ask myself, "who is this guy, and what does he really believe?"

Parting thoughts:  (1) Jones, like unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers, is still embraced in Lefty "polite society."  Do any of our resident Leftists want to explain that to me?  (2)  Breitbart's going to have a field day with this, isn't he?
