Poll Shows Voters Want Combination of Public, Private Experience in Presidential Candidate

A new Rasmussen poll shows 77% of people say a president's private sector experience is somewhat important when they decide who to vote for. The same amount -- 77%-- say that a candidate's "experience" in government is also somewhat important. In no surprise, Democrats, compared to Republican or independent voters, are more likely to view a candidate's government credentials as more important.
