McCain's Vegas Townhall

Wow. I just finished watching McCain's Las Vegas townhall from here in the MSNBC green room. He was on fire. I'll post a story about it when I get back to the office, but there were two highlights I want to pass on.

One, he read pork barrel spending out of the war supplemental and then made the case why passing "emergency spending" made for poor accounting practices. ("That way they don't have to count it," I think he said.) Two, McCain hit Obama hard on foreign policy by noting Obama is willing to sit down with Ahmadinejad, but hasn't found the time to meet face-to-face with Gen. Petraeus.

He's coming out swinging, guys.
