DREAM Act, Abortion and Don't Ask Don't Tell Vote Today

The Senate will be conducting a procedural vote today on the defense authorization bill which now has the DREAM Act, a bill proposed by Senator Harry Reid that if passed would allow illegals to stay in the country so long as they enroll in college or join the military, (otherwise known as amnesty), Don't Ask Don't Tell and a measure that would repeal the ban on abortions in military hospitals, an amendment slipped in by Senator Roland Burris of Illinois.

It is no surprise that Liberal Republican Senators Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins are not sure which way they will vote, and Senator Scott Brown from Massachusetts has said he does not approve of the DREAM Act being tacked on to the defense bill. The vote is set for 2:14  pm EST today, which means YOU have less than 5 hours to call your representatives.
