Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens to Retire

The Associated Press, CBS and MSNBC are all reporting that Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens is retiring this summer. Reports are that he has sent a letter to President Obama stating his intentions to retire. This gives President Obama another huge opportunity to fill an important Supreme Court vacancy with another justice who shares his view of jurisprudence.

Justice Stevens turns 90 years old this month and is the oldest and longest-serving justice.
