No Jambalaya For You!

When is an "open-to-the-public" event no longer open to the public? 

... Apparently, when Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La) decides it is.  Here's the story.  Upon receiving this email invitation, a friendly Republican decided to attend her FREE Jambalaya dinner ...

... As you probably guessed, the Republican who attended this little shindig (and brought his camera) was quickly hustled out of the event by someone who was apparently an off-duty police officer. 




Note:  It is not uncommon for modern campaigns to have "trackers" follow their opponent (think "Macaca"...).  This may be unseemly, but it is now a common practice.  The only caveat, of course, is that it should be reserved for public events ...
