An new and encouraging Rasmussen Report shows an overwhelming majority of Americans believe the Palestinians need to take the first step in the Mid-East peace process by simply recognizing Israel's right to exist before peace can possibly take hold in the region.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 71% of Likely U.S. Voters believe that Palestinian leaders should be required to acknowledge Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state. Just eight percent (8%) disagree and say this is not essential for a Middle Eastern peace agreement. Another 21% are not sure.
The survey was taken before Obama gave his horrendous speech on Mid-East "peace" yesterday when he called on Israel to retreat back to 1967 borders with Palestine. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu immediately rejected Obama's request.
"Obama is killing our allies."
