Obama's Rev. Wright-Speak

I made the point on CNN earlier this evening there are things Obama has said that could have come out of Rev. Wright's mouth. I'll have an article coming out on this tomorrow and one of the best examples comes from Obama's widely known, but not widely read, 2002 anti-war speech.

In it, he said this:
What I am opposed to is the cynical attempt by Richard Perle and Paul Wolfowitz and other armchair, weekend warriors in this administration to shove their own ideological agendas down our throats, irrespective of the costs in lives lost and in hardships borne. What I am opposed to is the attempt by political hacks like Karl Rove to distract us from a rise in the uninsured, a rise in the poverty rate, a drop in the median income - to distract us from corporate scandals and a stock market that has just gone through the worst month since the Great Depression. That's what I'm opposed to. A dumb war. A rash war.
Really, Obama? You believe the Iraq War was a ploy constructed by Karl Rove to distract Americans from these domestic issues? To me, that sounds almost as crazy as Wright's preachings the government invented AIDS to knock off blacks in America.
