Latino & Hispanic: What's The Difference?

H/T to Lee Habeeb for pointing me to this question posed by CNN's Tony Harris to Soledad O'Brien. Her definitive answer explains why CNN chose her to host "Latino in America": There really is no difference.

I always thought Hispanic was a cultural description and Latino was an ethnic one.
