Massachusetts Primed for Another GOP Pick-up?

Boy, for a party that was supposedly dead in New England, Republicans sure look very much alive (or at least competitive) in New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.

Might Sen. Brown see a fellow Republican join the Massachusetts Congressional delegation after November?  Keep an eye on MA-10, where incumbent Bill Delahunt is calling it quits, leaving the seat open.  Delahunt may have seen the writing on the wall; Brown performed very well in his district in January, carrying nearly 60 percent of the vote over Martha Coakley.

In Tuesday's primary, Democratic and Republican turnout ran nearly even in MA-10 (virtually unheard of in the state), and Republican victor Jeff Perry's 31,361 votes bested the top Democrat, Bill Keating, who earned 28,617 votes.  It's not a sure bet GOP pick-up, but this seat is definitely up for grabs.

UPDATE:  Meet Jeff Perry:
