In NY Special Election, It's Limbaugh vs. AIG...

The upcoming March 31 Special Election to fill Kirsten Gillibrand's old House seat (NY-20) is serving as a proxy war for ideological battles being playing out nationally. While few people know the names Jim Tedisco or Scott Murhpy, we've all heard about AIG and Rush Limbaugh -- and we all have an opinion about them...

... And depending on what side of the aisle you're on, those names might make you very, very angry. Perhaps even angry enough to vote in a special election. Via the Fix, below is a mail piece that has been distributed by Democrats, featuring Limbaugh's image with the words, "I Hope Obama Fails.":

While Democrats are attempting to run against Rush, as this video demonstrates, Republicans are attempting to run against AIG.




The stakes, of course, are very high -- as many view this special election as an indicator of how 2010 will play out. Whoever wins will, at least, gain momentum as we head toward the mid-term elections ...
