Michelle Obama Has Her Work Cut Out For Her

First there was the KFC "Double Down" sandwich which made everyone slightly squeamish while simultaneously arousing the junk food palate's curiosity...

Then Friendly's upped the ante with their horrendously fat-tastic Grilled Cheese Burger Melt, weighing in at an astounding 1,500 calories.  (To be fair, it does come topped with health-ilicious lettuce and tomato...)

But never one to be outdone, Denny's is finally entering the market of ridiculous foods today with their Fried Cheese Melt--a sandwich made with "four fried mozzarella sticks and melted American cheese grilled between two slices of sourdough bread"--priced at a consumer-friendly $4.

The Eater ranks this one on it's novelty sandwich meter:
On a scale of one to ten, one being a plain slice of white bread and ten being a chocolate-dipped bacon-wrapped Double Down on a stick, Denny's Fried Cheese Melt is a 6.
