How Despicable

As Matt and Amanda have noted below, the Ashley Todd story was not true.

How despicable. It goes without saying that she should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Dirty tricks like the one she attempted are wrong, and particularly pernicious when they attempt to play on fear and bigotry of any kind.

If Republicans can't win the election honestly, we don't deserve to win at all. People like Ashley Todd (and ACORN, for that matter) drag all of us -- and American politics -- into the gutter by tricks like this one.
