Anderson Asks the Rudy/Judith Question

Off-format a bit, but it had to be asked:

"It's not true."

"I had 24-hour security the whole eight years I was Mayor."

"They took care of me and they handled their records."

"I had nothing to do with the handling of their records, and as far as I know, they were handled perfectly correctly."

Anderson doesn't follow up because he has to move onto more YouTube videos. That killed the press room (audible groan) and probably killed him, too.

Here's Rudy's response from earlier today:
Rudy Giuliani's presidential campaign on Wednesday dismissed a report that New York City taxpayers footed the bill for expenses incurred in a Long Island resort as the then-mayor began an extramarital affair with current wife Judith Nathan.

''These were all legitimate expenses incurred in protecting the mayor, and his police detail covered him wherever he went, 24/7,'' Tony Carbonetti, Giuliani's chief political adviser, said in an interview. ''You just do what you do and the police go with you. That's just a fact of life when you're the mayor of New York.''
Update: Rudy's camp is launching an internal investigation of the costs.
