Did You Miss the Trump White House Calling Out This CBS News Host? They Had a Very Good Reason

Face the Nation’s Margaret Brennan is becoming a punching bag for the Trump White House, though she’s not nearly as annoying as CNN. Nevertheless, some of the smackdowns, albeit less explosive, have been epic, though she sometimes brings it on herself, like when she insinuated the Holocaust was caused by too much free speech, or something. Marco Rubio made mincemeat out of that argument. Yet, with Operation Epic Fury underway, the Trump White House recently had to call her out for parroting this piece of Tehran propaganda.

On March 12, she claimed that Steve Witkoff, our lead negotiator during the failed Iran talks that led to Epic Fury getting the greenlight, did not "grasp the technical details" of the Iranian proposal. That’s terrorist propaganda, Margaret. Tsk tsk tsk. There is nothing technical here: the Iranians said they had enough material for 11 bombs. That was announced on day one of the talks. It’s shocking they lasted this long, but Trump wanted a diplomatic solution until none could be reached. When you offer a nation unlimited nuclear fuel for domestic use, and they refuse, war becomes the only option. They wanted nukes—it’s not a secret. And if Midnight Hammer hadn’t been carried out last summer, they might have had one by now. Another stain on the failed Obama foreign policy legacy.

And it’s not just Brennan. There are a lot of journalists and Democratic members of Congress who seem to be rooting for the US to lose, either because the Left has become utterly insane—which isn’t far-fetched—or they’re just outright opposed to anything Trump does. It’s likely a combination of the two, which is good that Trump and his team realize that. Feed these people crap behind closed doors, keep them guessing, and never ever tell Democrats anything about future operations.

They’d leak them, which is what traitors do.

Here are some of Brennan's past hits:
