Only a Democrat Could Think This Was a Top Issue Concerning the Israel-Hamas War

The war in Gaza continues to rage, with American hostages remaining in the hands of Hamas. Joe Biden’s Mickey Mouse humanitarian pier got ripped up by a bunch of waves, and Jamie Raskin is worried about how this conflict could wreck the environment. Only a Democrat could be thinking about global warming regarding this war.

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) mentioned this on the left-wing Democracy Now! program.

“This war has also been an environmental nightmare,” he said. “The world can't afford more wars like this. We have to get people together across the world to be dealing with the reality of climate change, which has now a dagger at the throat of all humanity."

Yeah, let’s get all the hostages and destroy Hamas first, Jamie. The way you know this talking point is detached from reality is that even ardent progressives don’t care. They’re more appalled that Israeli forces rescued four hostages this month. At least 100 Palestinians were killed in the raid. Those people were terrorists—the hostages were found detained by so-called civilians. With progressives becoming engulfed in antisemitism and shills for radical Islamic terrorism, it’s not a shock that they were angrier with the IDF than Hamas, who is the only party at fault for the chaos, mayhem, and destruction that’s permeated the region. They launched the October 7 attacks, sparking a war they couldn’t win. It’s their fault.

If these pro-Hamas clowns who spout terrorist propaganda about genocide, which isn’t happening in Gaza, spent more time pressuring Hamas to release the hostages, then a ceasefire could ensue. Over a dozen offers have been rejected because death is Hamas’ business. Israel has withstood the international pressure placed upon them by the usual anti-Israel clowns on the world stage. Benjamin Netanyahu still stands, and the policy will remain unchanged even when he leaves.

I don’t think anyone here or elsewhere gives a damn about the environmental concerns, congressman. Also, this isn’t like the firebombing of Dresden. Stop acting like this war is something akin to the Exxon Valdez spill.
