After the publication of this report on a flyer circulated by the White House outlining what is and is not allowed on Easter Eggs designed by children of National Guard soldiers as part of a contest, other outlets reported that the guidelines — including a prohibition on religious symbols — were not new to the Biden administration and had been in place for decades.
