Watch When An Entire Diner Says They're Voting for Trump

At this point, former President Trump is right: as long as he is in the race, the other GOP 2024 candidates are running to be his vice president. 

On Thursday, a Fox News reporter was caught off guard when an entire diner full of people said they were voting for Trump. 

Reporter Lawrence Jones asked a crowd at a Georgia diner whether they support Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL.) or Trump to be the GOP nominee. The sheer mention of Trump’s name caused the crowd to erupt in cheers and claps. 

“Fox asks Georgia voters who they think will win the primary. ‘Who thinks DeSantis is going to win?’ —Crickets— ‘Who thinks Trump is going to win.’ —Cheers—” Jones asked. 

At that point, Jones didn’t even bother asking about another candidate.

As the segment continued, the reporter asked individuals in the diner who would get their vote. Of the six people he asked, all unanimously answered “Trump.” 

According to a Morning Consult poll, Trump has a 50-point lead over his GOP rivals, with DeSantis trailing second in line at 14 percent. 

Meanwhile, a Fox News poll shows that Trump hit 62 percent in the GOP primary. The 45th president holds more than half of the voter's support; there is a 50-point gap between Trump and DeSantis. Nikki Haley has 11 percent, Ramaswamy only holds 7 percent, and Chris Christie is a mere 3 percent. 

In addition, polling from the New York Times and Siena College released in November shows Trump surpassing President Joe Biden in five out of six battleground states.
