Another Democrat Hops On the Trump Train

All aboard the Trump train, it's leaving and heading to the White House— with President Joe Biden laying in the dust.

Former disgraced CNN anchor Chris Cuomo suggested his shocking plans to vote for former President Trump over Biden, citing the downhill spiral the country has taken since Democrats took over office.

Cuomo speculated that under another Trump term, the United States would head in a safer, more successful direction than if Biden would serve another four years.

“Would we survive another [term]… uh, yes,” Cuomo told podcaster Patrick Bet-David, referring to Trump. “I don’t think there’s any greater risk to America with him than with Biden. And for people who are now going to attack me and say, what are you talking about, Trump is like this crazy man. Well, look, as Patrick says, the data’s the data. Nobody was trying to kill us when Trump was president in the way that they are now. If anything, there’s more hostility.”

The ex-CNN host said that, unlike many Americans, he was unafraid of another Trump presidency, saying he believes the country is more vital than any individual leader.

“In terms of who I’m going to vote for, I would really have to see where we are at that moment in time,” Cuomo said.

He also cited Biden’s repeated gaffes, blunders, and actions that have wreaked havoc on the nation, saying that America has “survived” and moved on.

“So you’re open to Trump,” Bet-David asked.

“I am always open, and people will say, ‘Bull***, you’ve never voted for a Republican in your life.’ Wrong. And not only have I, the first vote I ever cast was for a Republican,” Cuomo replied.

Polling from the New York Times and Siena College released earlier this month shows Trump surpassing Biden in five out of six battleground states.

At the same time, an October Gallup poll found that Biden’s approval rating is a mere 37 percent— down from 41 percent in September. Trump holds a +1.7 lead over Biden, according to a RealClearPolitics poll.

Forty-six percent of registered voters believe Trump will win the 2024 election compared to the 37 percent who think Biden will win.
