NBC News Poll Reveals Most Americans Are Sane and Pro-Science on This Transgender Issue

The survey had to have come as a shock for the reporters at NBC News. Is this nation transphobic? Why are people so bigoted? The river of emotions was comparable to Niagara Falls, but it’s not that America is bigoted or transphobic. They’re just pro-science and not insane. Also, social media isn’t real life. How liberals could think that biological males can and should compete in women’s sports would fly with most voters is beyond me, but that’s the byproduct of being stuck in a lefty bubble. The pro-science party has opted to replace biological facts with people’s imaginations. And the latest poll shows the country aligns with the Republican Party on this issue of transgenders participating in sporting events.

Seventy percent feel that transgenders should only participate in sporting events of the gender they were assigned at birth. That’s the consensus. Not only that, but support for that position increased, no doubt in part due to the Left’s unhinged affinity for trying to mutilate kids and erase womanhood from the landscape (via NBC News):

More Americans than before oppose transgender athletes competing in sports that align with their gender identity and say transitioning genders is “morally wrong,” according to a report from Gallup released Monday.

The survey — conducted from May 1 to May 24 via telephone interviews with roughly 1,000 adults living in the U.S. — found that 69% of people say that transgender athletes should only be allowed to compete on sports teams that correspond with the sex they were assigned at birth, compared with 62% in 2021. It also shows that a slightly higher share of Americans, 55%, consider “changing one’s gender” to be more “morally wrong” than in 2021, when it was 51%.

Gallup’s findings come amid an unprecedented number of anti-LGBTQ bills, 491, introduced by conservative lawmakers in state legislatures across the country, according to the American Civil Liberties Union, with the majority of the legislation affecting trans Americans.

“The attacks on trans people have been very acute and vicious,” Alejandra Caraballo, a trans activist and clinical instructor at Harvard Law School’s Cyberlaw Clinic, said. “It’s basically been the only thing that the far-right talks about so it’s not surprising that, in light of all of these concentrated attacks against trans people, that support has started to dip.”

Can these people not read polls, either? Support?  When 62 percent oppose this cockamamie social issue regarding sports, that isn’t support. You never had it.

The electorate isn’t consuming the anti-trans narrative the liberal media is trying to create. They might not agree with the GOP on everything, but Republicans are right to prohibit sexual reassignment surgeries, arguably mutilation, and other hormone therapies for minors. We’re protecting kids; six-year-olds do not grasp gender or sexuality to make these determinations. And the parents who do are sick puppies who deserve decades behind bars for child abuse.

None of the bills being passed or debated at present call for discriminatory measures against transgenders regarding access to education, employment, and standard health care—those who are adults and have decided to transition can still get their gene therapies and other medical procedures if they wish. What will not happen is granting kindergarteners access to this sort of care. It’s aberrant in the extreme, a pure horror movie, with most Americans not jumping onboard the child mutilation train.

Interestingly, the Left prides itself in being the party of science—they’re not—but in this context, they’ll declare it and sacrifice logic on the altar of the woke gods. They’re the pro-woman feminist party but will happily erase all distinctive characteristics and traits of femininity to appease this small band of males masquerading as females. This world has rules, some of which cannot be upended.

Camille Paglia, a prolific and well-known feminist, is often cited by conservatives. Still, she is unabashedly independent, eschewing the current ethos that often puts her at odds with her peers. Paglia also identifies as ‘transgender’ but hasn’t transitioned. What sets her apart is that she realizes biological differences between the sexes, and the Left’s crusade to downplay or ignore those distinctions is a recipe for societal disaster. You might not agree with everything she says, but she is a ball of political nuance worth reading. Look at J.K. Rowling, another literary darling of the Left, who often cited her works in anti-Trump activities (i.e., Dumbledore’s Army) but has now declared her persona non grata for adhering to the scientific fact that men and women are different. Rowling is an ardent leftist but isn’t on board with the transgender nonsense, which led to her ostracization.

Look, lefties, we don’t want dudes in women’s sports and vice versa. The junk science that says testosterone doesn’t give anyone an edge is laughable. A transgender cyclist blew up a women’s race, finishing five minutes before anyone else. Color me shocked. It denies women and girls their dues in these events and sabotages college access and athletic scholarships at the high school level. We all see it, and flashing your fake boobs in front of the White House, as we saw at the most recent transgender fest in DC, only reinforces what many already think.
