WATCH: White House Unveils New Space Force Flag

The flag for the new U.S. Space Force was revealed in the Oval Office Friday as the United States embarks on a new mission among the stars and against our enemies.

"Today we're here for a very important, a really important occasion because we are unfurling the [Space Force] flag," Trump said, revealing the speed of a new missile. "With the adversaries we have out there, I call it the 'super duper missile' and I heard the other night, 17 times faster than what they have right now."

"You heard Russia has five times and China's working on five or six times. We have one 17 times and it's just gotten the go ahead, 17 times faster if you can believe that," he continued. "Fastest in the world by a factor of almost three. So I just want to congratulate everybody. Space is going to be the future. Both in terms of defense and offense and so many other things. Already from what I'm hearing and based on reports, we're now the leaders in space."

The Space Force has been advertising in epic fashion over the past few weeks as the military transfers a number of individuals from the Air Force to the new military branch.

"The U.S. Space Force is a military service that organizes, trains, and equips space forces in order to protect U.S. and allied interests in space and to provide space capabilities to the joint force. USSF responsibilities will include developing military space professionals, acquiring military space systems, maturing the military doctrine for space power, and organizing space forces to present to our Combatant Commands," the official website states.
