Democrats Working Hard to Give Taxpayer Money to Illegal Aliens

Democrats dragged their feet when it came to funding small businesses, but they're fighting tooth and nail to get taxpayer money into the hands of illegal aliens.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom led the way by partnering with activist organizations to give illegal immigrants in the state $500 stimulus checks. A large part of the money is coming out of California's rainy-day fund. And now other Democratic governors and mayors are hard at work to reward aliens who depress wages, take American jobs and disregard the laws of our nation.

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy is exploring ways to reward illegal aliens in his state, saying it's "something we want to look at."

Congressional Democrats are advocating for illegal aliens amid the government lockdowns. Democrats Reps. Judy Chu and Lou Correa of California, along with Raul Grijalva of Arizona and 50 other co-sponsors, have introduced legislation that would extend eligibility for government rebates to illegal aliens with Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers. These numbers are how some illegal aliens pay taxes on the income they receive from stolen jobs and the business opportunities they deprive Americans. It's also how they qualify for the Child Tax Credit, pay earnings into Social Security, which they can collect as soon as they become permanent residents, open a bank account and obtain driver's licenses. Reps. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN) are co-sponsors.

With cities closed down across America and millions of Americans losing jobs and businesses, some Democratic mayors are scheming to give illegal aliens taxpayer money.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot extended the city's coronavirus benefit programs to include illegal aliens, who now qualify for things like the city's housing assistance program and aid for small businesses.

The city of Minneapolis is offering millions in assistance to tenants and small businesses during the coronavirus. The assistance is available regardless of immigration status.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio partnered with George Soros’s Open Society Foundations to give $20 million to immigrants, regardless of their status.

One of the many reasons illegal aliens should not receive stimulus money amid the coronavirus outbreak is the law prohibits them from working in the United States. At a time when unemployment is north of 20 percent, every penny of stimulus money should go to those with a legal right to work in the United States, not people stealing jobs away from American workers.

To protect American workers during the coronavirus, President Trump signed an executive order temporarily halting those seeking to legally migrate to the United States.

"This order will ensure that unemployed Americans of all backgrounds will be first in line for jobs as our economy reopens," the president said on Wednesday. "Crucially, we'll also preserve our health care resources for American patients. We have to take care of our patients, we have to take care of our great American workers. And that's what we're doing."
