Oh Good. Police in a Major City Are Using Drones From China to Spy on Americans.

As the Wuhan coronavirus crisis continues, local governments across the country are actively enforcing social distancing measures with force and threats of criminal prosecution. At the same time, these same localities have been releasing violent criminals back onto the streets.

In Elizabeth City, New Jersey police are using drones to spy on Americans to ensure they are complying with mandated stay-at-home orders. In fact, the mayor is touting how the drones can reach tight spaces like backyards and private property that isn't accessible with patrol cars.

"Mayors need to be creative. We have to figure out a way to get to people police cars can't get to," Elizabeth Mayor Christian Bollwage said in an interview with MSNBC.

The drones were "donated" from China. The drones aren't free, but instead come at the cost of the Chinese Communist Party also being able to spy on Americans.

Meanwhile, the Department of Justice is paying close attention to government overreach in a time of crisis.

During an interview with radio host Hugh Hewitt earlier this week, Attorney General Bill Barr said DOJ attorneys have assisted those suing their governments over infringements on constitutional rights.
