McConnell Opponent 'Social Distancing' By Filming Campaign Ad in Her Home

Social distancing for most Americans means staying at home except for necessary trips and making minimal contact with others, but Amy McGrath interprets the concept of social distancing differently. McGrath is running a long-shot Senate bid against Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), and the Democratic Party has turned the race into a national spectacle, despite McGrath’s slim chance of unseating Leader McConnell.

McGrath released a new campaign ad on Tuesday afternoon, touting her social distancing practice, while a crew filmed in her living room:

Leader McConnell’s re-election campaign, however, has suspended activities until COVID-19 is under control, and committed to delivering resources to at-risk Kentuckians.

McGrath also joined Sen. Schumer (D-NY) in lying about the bipartisan relief package proposed by Democratic and Republican leadership, falsely claiming that the CARES Act would not help working Americans.
