After another round of victories on Tuesday night, including Illinois, Florida and Arizona, former Vice President Biden’s campaign pointed to their overwhelming lead over Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT). Biden won all three states by double-digit margins.
Biden campaign memo: “Senator Sanders would need to win every remaining contest by roughly 40 points. That would require reaching 70% support, which is double his current national polling average of 35%. FiveThirtyEight does not project Sanders winning a single remaining contest" pic.twitter.com/TjIx2q6F6G

The path to the Democratic nomination for Sen. Sanders is virtually non-existent, as the campaign also notes:
On delegate race Biden team says, “We expect to emerge tonight with a bigger delegate lead than we had going into the night. It would take a drastic, historically-incomparable swing for Senator Sanders to win more delegates than Biden today or to close the delegate differential.”

Biden himself began to appeal to Sen. Sanders’ supporters last night:
Joe Biden makes appeal to Sen. Sanders supporters: “Let me say to the young voters inspired by Senator Sanders, I hear you. I know what's at stake...Our goal as a campaign, and my goal as a candidate for president, is to unify this party and then unify the nation.” pic.twitter.com/K8pXjSsHGs

Rumors of Sen. Sanders dropping out of the race were floated earlier on Wednesday, but the senator from Vermont has yet to make it official.
