Schools across the nation are closing as a way of helping mitigate the spread of the Wuhan Coronavirus. Some will be closed for weeks. Others will be closed for at least a month. And parents are finding themselves in a bind. Who will watch their kids and what activities will keep them occupied when not at school and engaged in extra-curricular activities?
Disney decided to help out with the dilemma by releasing Frozen 2 on Disney+ on Sunday. The movie was originally scheduled to be released this summer.
“Frozen 2 has captivated audiences around the world through its powerful themes of perseverance and the importance of family, messages that are incredibly relevant during this time, and we are pleased to be able to share this heartwarming story early with our Disney+ subscribers to enjoy at home on any device,” Bob Chapek, Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company said in a statement.

The announcement comes after the company decided to cease operations at its various parks and cruise line.
