A liberal group focused on health care issues used coronavirus to attack Montana Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) in a huge ad buy.

Protect Our Care’s TV ad insinuates that Sen. Daines does not value the safety and health of Americans during coronavirus, on account of his view on health care. This ad comes on the heels of the narrative from Democrats insisting that Republicans are guilty of politicizing the pandemic.

Sen. Daines’ campaign, and the National Republican Senatorial Committee, pushed back on this baseless attack:

Senate Majority PAC, which is closely associated with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), also jumped on the bandwagon politicizing coronavirus, in an attack on Michigan Senate candidate John James on health care:

These attacks destroy Democrats’ own narrative that President Trump and Senate Republicans are the ones politicizing a global health epidemic. Using coronavirus to attack GOP Senators on health care issues is especially reprehensible, in a desperate attempt by Sen. Schumer to gain the majority back in the Senate.
