Booker Endorses Biden

Former Vice President Joe Biden received yet another endorsement from a former presidential candidate and colleague on Monday morning, ahead of Tuesday’s series of primaries. Sen. Cory Booker joined former presidential candidates Sens. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and Kamala Harris (D-CA), Pete Buttigieg and John Delaney in endorsing the former vice president.

Sen. Booker, who ended his presidential bid in January ahead of the Iowa Caucuses, sparred with former Vice President Biden on the debate stage, most notably on Biden’s support of the 1994 crime bill:

“Mr. Vice President has said that since the 1970s, every crime bill, major and minor, has had his name on it. And sir, those are your words, not mine, and this is one of those instances where the house was set on fire and you claimed responsibility for those laws,” Sen. Booker said in a July debate.

As the Trump campaign points out, Booker also previously doubted Biden’s ability to keep up on the campaign trail:

Sen. Booker will join former Vice President Biden in Michigan on Monday ahead of Tuesday's primary.
