EMILY’s List is exclusively dedicated to electing pro-choice, Democratic women. EMILY's list has backed a multitude of female, Democratic candidates nationwide, on the state and national level, and is responsible for many electoral victories for Democratic women. The group backed Hillary Clinton in 2016's Democratic primary and general election. Thus far, the female-focused interest group has remained neutral in the Democratic primary, but released a glowing endorsement of Sen. Warren Monday night:

This endorsement is fairly late in the primary, and comes on the heels of Sen. Amy Klobuchar’s (D-MN) exit from the race. After the departure of Pete Buttigieg and Sen. Klobuchar, Sen. Warren is the last viable establishment candidate in the race that has not conceded in order to support former Vice President Biden over Sen. Bernie Sanders.
The Democratic primary started with six women in the race, and Sen. Warren is the last viable, female candidate standing. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) has not ended her candidacy thus far, but has not been on the stage in the past few debates.
