Late last week Virginia's Democrat Governor Ralph Northam signed an executive order declaring a state of emergency. He did so by claiming white supremacists would take over the annually scheduled Second Amendment lobbying day in Richmond.
We have received credible intelligence from our law enforcement agencies of threats of violence surrounding the demonstration planned for Monday, January 20. This includes extremist rhetoric similar to what has been seen before major incidents, such as Charlottesville in 2017.

This intelligence suggests militia groups and hate groups, some from out of state, plan to come to the Capitol to disrupt our democratic process with acts of violence.

Northam's friends in the leftist media, who happily brushed his blackface and KKK garb scandal off the airwaves last year, took the "white supremacist" narrative and ran with it. They warned of potential violence, clashes and targeting of minorities. None of that happened and their false narrative completely fell apart. It was a productive, peaceful day.
People are begining to clear out as the rally comes to an end. The attendence was massive. There was no violence, disturbance, or really any consternation from what I witnessed. I did not see any racist displays whatsoever. Everyone in attendance was focused on gun rights.
