Sen. Martha McSally (R-AZ) blasted CNN Senior Congressional Correspondent Manu Raju as a "liberal hack" when he asked her a question on Capitol Hill Thursday morning.
Raju first tweeted about the exchange, describing McSally's remark as having "lashed out."
Sen. Martha McSally, a Republican facing a difficult election race, lashed out when I asked if she would consider new evidence as part of the Senate trial. “You’re a liberal hack - I’m not talking to you. You’re a liberal hack.” She then walked into a hearing room.

"Senator McSally, should the Senate consider new evidence as part of the impeachment trial?" Raju asked.
"Manu, you’re a liberal hack," McSally replied. "I’m not talking to you."
"You’re not going to comment?" Raju then asked.

The question comes just as the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) finally sent the two articles of impeachment, abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, over to the Senate after holding on to them for four weeks after they passed in a partisan vote.
Pelosi picked the following Democrats to be the impeachment managers: House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA), House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY), Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA), House Democratic Caucus Chair Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), Rep. Val Demings (D-FL), Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO), and Rep. Sylvia Garcia (D-TX).
