It's a sad day for politicos. One of the most entertaining candidates of the 2019-2020 presidential cycle, Marianne Williamson, has announced she's leaving the race.
A politics of conscience is still yet possible. And yes….love will prevail.https://t.co/BqTKQFI338

"I stayed in the race to take advantage of every possible effort to share our message," she wrote on her campaign website on Friday. "With caucuses and primaries now about to begin, however, we will not be able to garner enough votes in the election to elevate our conversation any more than it is now. The primaries might be tightly contested among the top contenders, and I don’t want to get in the way of a progressive candidate winning any of them."
Williamson, an author and spiritual leader, left us with some of the most memorable onstage moments this fall. Instead of providing a specific policy agenda, she'd often step back and provide a larger picture about the sad state of American politics and how "love" can always overcome the darkness. Townhall compiled some of her colorful answers below.

Her speeches also resulted in some awesome memes. She herself acknowledged her meme acumen, once telling a reporter that she'd have to wait to "see the memes" to determine how well she did in a debate.

Farewell, Marianne. And thank you for making some of these debates less painful!
