Anti-Conservative Party Rioters Take to the Streets In the UK Following PM Johnson's Victory

Protests in the United Kingdom have broken out on Friday following the Conservative Party's stunning victory. Some protesters turned into rioters as they carried out attacks against the Metropolitan Police.

The Conservative Party now has a solid majority in Parliament, having a total of 365 seats, with Boris Johnson's position as prime minister secured to carry out the U.K.'s exit from the European Union. The Labour Party was soundly defeated as they now have only 203 seats.

Despite the results of the election, protesters chanted, "Boris Johnson - not my Prime Minister!" They also carried signs that read, "No to racism. No to Boris Johnson" on Friday.

At one point, people attacked the Metropolitan Police and chanted "Scum!" at them. Those attacking police appear to belong to Antifa as they are wearing the standard black garb and waving the Antifa flag.
