Hillary Clinton granted Howard Stern his first interview with her on Wednesday, and as always, Stern didn't shy away from the awkward questions. He went straight to the juggernaut to ask about how blindsided she was about the 2016 election. She admitted she hadn't even written a losing speech.
"Obviously, I was crushed. I was disappointed, and I was really surprised because I couldn’t figure out what had happened," Clinton said of November 8, 2016.
Stern dug up even more painful memories when he asked Clinton to recall sitting through Trump's inauguration ceremony, which she called "one of the hardest days of her life." Yet, she apparently found solace sitting next to former President George W. Bush. After Trump gave his speech, Clinton said Bush turned to her and said, "Well, that was some weird s**t."

Clinton said she too found Trump's speech "bizarre" and not at all presidential. She also wondered how anyone could be friends with the guy.
Stern asked her, for instance, about Sen. Lindsey Graham's (R-SC) change of heart toward Trump and whether he had "sold his soul to the devil." She really couldn't say.

"I don't know the answer to that," she said. "I think that's a fair question, however."
Sen. Graham, Clinton said, used to be "good company," "funny," "self-deprecating."
"I saw him as someone trying to figure out what he believed and how he could do things," she recalled. "How did he go from being the friend and confidant of the maverick, John McCain...and now I don't know what's happened to Lindsey Graham."
"It's like he had a brain snatch," she added.
Clinton's radio interview has, unfortunately, restarted some speculation about her 2020 plans.
