Speaking to reporters at her weekly press briefing Thursday morning, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi tripled down on comments that President Trump is engaged in a cover-up, and said she regularly prays for him and called for an intervention.
Her remarks came 24 hours after President Trump abruptly canceled a White House meeting with Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer about infrastructure. Speaking in the Rose Garden, Trump called for an end to congressional investigations so both sides of the political aisle can get to work on behalf of the American people. He cut the meeting short because Pelosi accused him of a cover-up just moments before it started.

"I actually, ardently pray for the president because — sometimes when we're talking to him, he agrees. Then, I said one time, 'Who's in charge here because you agree and then all of a sudden something changes?' What goes on there?" Silver lining? Pelosi said she would meet with President Trump in the future.
Reporter: Would you take another meeting with the president after what happened? Can you work with him on anything?

Pelosi: Of course. We're dealing with a situation that's becoming more predictable, but I do think that we have a responsibility to find common ground pic.twitter.com/rS1G6ZBIg0
President Trump commented on the situation earlier today before Pelosi's remarks.
I was extremely calm yesterday with my meeting with Pelosi and Schumer, knowing that they would say I was raging, which they always do, along with their partner, the Fake News Media. Well, so many stories about the meeting use the Rage narrative anyway - Fake & Corrupt Press!
