You Want To Guess How Much Time The Networks Spent On The NYT’s Anti-Semitic Cartoon Fiasco?

Our weekend editor Timothy Meads covered this over the weekend. It’s the usual story in the realm of media bias, but it never hurts to be reminded that the mainstream media is trash—and this a prime example of why that’s the case. The New York Times went full Nazi (or KKK) over the weekend, publishing an anti-Semitic cartoon featuring President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. It was eventually taken down, which was followed by a non-apology, then an apology, with blame being directed at one editor for the foul-up. It was too little too late. If you thought the anti-Semitic tropes peddled by Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) were an isolated incident, you’re wrong. It’s a systemic problem on the Left. And now, one of the movement’s biggest papers decided to dabble in it. So, do you want to guess how much time the Big Three (ABC, NBC, and CBS) spent on it? Oh, roughly…zero minutes. The only network that actually reported on it was CNN…for 12 minutes (via Newsbusters):

Since Saturday morning when The New York Times issued its first statement concerning a blatantly anti-Semitic propaganda masquerading as a political cartoon in Thursday’s international edition, the flagship broadcast network morning and evening newscasts of ABC, CBS, and NBC have ignored the despicable image depicting President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

And of course, this was despite the fact that all ten newscasts since Saturday night led with the deadly shooting at the Chabad of Poway synagogue allegedly at the hands of a teen with an anti-Semitic manifesto. This horrifying story left leeway to also mention The Times, but they declined.

To show how even more ridiculous this blackout was, CNN dedicated 12 minutes and 13 seconds on the cartoon through 12:00 p.m. Eastern on Monday (which did not include Sunday’s State of the Union rerun at noon Eastern) while MSNBC spent 61 seconds.

There should be prayers for Curtis Houck and the rest of the Newsbusters crew who watch and analyze the Democrat-media complex on a daily basis. If a conservative publication was caught posting such trash, a) they should be roundly criticized; and b) it would be days or even weeks-long story…because somehow the media will find a way to craft some kooky theory that Trump personally gave his blessing. Have you watched Rachel Maddow’s show lately? At times, it’s hard to distinguish it from InfoWars. It’s not shocking, but often times we need to be reminded that our enemies are powerful. They have influence. And because of that their very bad behavior, behavior, they ironically and erroneously accuse the president of, is swept under the rug.
