Patrick Moore, an original co-founder of the extreme environmental group Greenpeace, is ripping Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez over her terrible "Green New Deal."
@AOC

Pompous little twit. You don’t have a plan to grow food for 8 billion people without fossil fuels, or get food into the cities. Horses? If fossil fuels were banned every tree in the world would be cut down for fuel for cooking and heating. You would bring about mass death.
Isn't @AOC a bit young to talk about WW2? It was Hell & more than 60 million died. It's her @GND that would be worse than WW2. Imagine no fuel for cars, trucks, tractors, combines, harvesters, power-plants, ships, aircraft, etc. Transport of people & goods would grind to a halt. https://t.co/nXhdlK4Tsa

The "greens" and @AOC @GND are just as much against natural gas as they are against oil and coal. They just play them off against each other. Make no mistake, these people are going for the jugular of civilization. It is a green jihad with no compromise. https://t.co/5oTob4PCqr

Moore, a skeptic of "global warming" and "climate change," has distanced himself from extreme environmentalism over the years. He has a PhD in Ecology and refers to himself as "The Sensible Environmentalist" who believes in "science & logic, not sensation & fear."
Fossil fuels are of life-origin & organic, as in the scientific meaning, organic chemistry, the chemistry of carbon. They were made with 100% solar energy. When burned the main products are H2O and CO2, the 2 most important ingredients of all life. So people, stop dissing them. https://t.co/3h2yLIUek6

In 2009 Moore gave an interview for the documentary Not Evil Just Wrong, a counter to Al Gore's 2006 film An Inconvenient Truth. He also did a video for PragerU to explain why he left Greenpeace.Yes, the Paris "Accord" is a total sham. China, India and Russia, 40% of global population, ignore it, along with most other countries. The USA is at least honest in pulling out of this fake deal. Fossil fuels are >80% of the energy supply to run the country, and the world. https://t.co/hjDWTtPwv6

The Green New Deal, which requires an elimination of all fossil fuels, airplane travel and meat consumption, would cost the United States $93 trillion.
