Cpl. Singh Was Laid to Rest. Guess Which Politicians Were Conveniently Absent.

UPDATE

Just when we thought politicians in California couldn't get any more horrible, Gov.-elect Gavin Newsom proved us wrong. Apparently, the reason he was absent from Cpl. Singh's funeral yesterday was because he was too busy watching the Sacramento Kings play basketball.

If this doesn't tell you where his priorities lay, nothing will.

ORIGINAL POST

Cpl. Ronil Singh, the officer who was killed in the line of duty by an illegal alien last week, was laid to rest on Saturday.

Here's a look at the funeral:

Law enforcement and fire departments from around the country joined in remembering Cpl. Singh and the sacrifice he made:

Some even made the trip from Canada.

Even the Fiji ambassador to the U.S. made it to the funeral.

Attorney General Xavier Becerra was rumored to make an appearance but that has not been confirmed.

But where was Gov. Jerry Brown or Gov.-elect Gavin Newsom? What about Sens. Dianne Feinstein and Kamala Harris?

You're telling me that not one of those four found Cpl. Singh's sacrifice worthy of being in attendance?

Absolutely disgusting.
