"The government's filing in Mr. Manafort's case says absolutely nothing about the president," White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement. "It says even less about collusion and is devoted almost entirely to lobbying-related issues. Once again the media is trying to create a story where there isn't one."
She also responded to the new Michael Cohen findings, dismissing them as having "nothing of value" in them.
"Mr. Cohen has repeatedly lied and as the prosecution has pointed out to the court, Mr. Cohen is no hero," Sanders said.

Former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort has told "multiple, discernible lies" during the course of special counsel Robert Mueller's Russian investigation and has therefore breached his plea agreement, according to a new filing.

“Manafort told multiple discernible lies — these were not instances of mere memory lapses,” the document reads.
The filing details how Manafort lied to prosecutors about his contacts with the Trump administration and a Ukrainian business partner.
Just before the release of this filing, we learned that Mueller wants former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen to spend the next four years in jail for the crimes he recently admitted to. Cohen was also reportedly not quite as cooperative with the Mueller team as he let on.
President Trump interpreted the Cohen news to mean he's cleared from any collusion claims.
